You are invited to JOIN the National Taskforce on Tradeswomen’s Issues for 4 days of Professional Development focused on advancing access, opportunity, and equity for women in the trades before and after Trades Women Build Nations in Chicago on September 18, 19, 21 and 22. (note: the Taskforce is not a part of NABTU)

Our convenings are scheduled at times that do not conflict with the Tradeswomen Build Nations Conference (TWBN). Our venue is about a 15-minute drive from the NABTU TWBN Conference location. Apprentices welcome and scholarships available! We are very excited about the informative and skill-building programming we will be offering. As well as the opportunity to meet and share with all of you! Our tentative agenda is as follows:

~Day 1: 2025 Federal Policy and Responses

Thursday September 18, 10:00am to 4:30pm (morning and afternoon coffee and lunch)

 Thursday September 18, 5:00pm to 7:00pm: Reception and program at the Chicago Women in Trades. Separate registration is required for this event so please, Register Here.

~ Day 2: Organizing for Change, Preparing Next Generation, Leadership Paths

Friday September 19th 8:00am to 12:10pm (breakfast will be served)

~Day 3: Building Towards Action

Sunday September 21th 1:00pm to 4:30pm (lunch will be served)

~Day 4: Strength and Solidarity

Monday September 22nd 8:00am to 2:30pm (coffee, breakfast and lunch will be served)
